Benefits of SDHS Membership

Benefits of membership include voting rights, a twice-yearly newsletter, the annual conference proceedings, and, each year, one volume of Studies in Dance History, the society's monograph series. Recent titles include Kaiso! Writings by and about Katherine Dunham; Rethinking the Sylph: New Perspectives on the Romantic Ballet, and Dancing Desires: Choreographing Sexualities On and Off the Stage.

In addition, members have access to an online directory and other special features and research tools on this website. A member-only listserve regularly circulates job announcements, calls for papers, fellowship opportunities, and other high-priority news.
