Officers. Current officers of the Society of Dance History Scholars are Janice Ross (Stanford University), president; Andrea Harris (University of Wisc), recording secretary; Jill Nunes Jensen (Loyola Marymount University), corresponding secretary; and Susan Wiesner (University of North Carolina-Greensboro), treasurer.

Board of Directors. In addition to the officers of the society, members of the board of directors are Ann Cooper Albright (Oberlin College), Melissa Blanco Borelli (University of Surrey), Susan Cook (University of Wisconsin-Madison), Sherril Dodds (University of Surrey), Lisa Doolittle (University of Lethbridge), Colleen Dunagan (California State University-Long Beach), Cindy Garcia (University of Minnesota-Twin Cities), Jens Richard Giersdorf (Marymount Manhattan College), Lena Hammergren (Stockholm University), Gabriele Klein (University of Hamburg), Anthea Kraut (University of California-Riverside), Yatin Lin (Taipei National University of the Arts), Vida Midgelow (University College Northampton), Ken Pierce (Massachusetts Institute of Technology), Patricia Rader (New York Public Library for the Performing Arts), Paul Scolieri (Barnard College, Columbia University), and Yutian Wong (San Francisco State University).

Editorial Board. The SDHS editorial board, which governs the publishing program of the society, is chaired by Ann Cooper Albright (Oberlin College). Current members of the board include Theresa Buckland (De Montfort University), Darcy Callison (York University), Sarah Davies Cordova (Marquette University), Sherril Dodds (University of Surrey), Nadine George (University of California-San Diego), Ellen Graff (independent scholar), Gay Morris (independent dance scholar), and Yutian Wong (San Francisco State University). Vida Midgelow (University College Northampton) serves as editor of Conversations Across the Field of Dance Studies. Ex officio members include the president, corresponding secretary, and the treasurer of SDHS.

Committees. Current standing committees of the society are titled: Academic Affairs, Nominations and Governance, Fiscal Management, and Membership and Communications. Ad hoc committees are formed to plan programs for annual conferences, to judge submissions for annual awards, and to perform various tasks in the interests of SDHS.

Working Group Chairs. Tricia Henry Young (Florida State University) is chair of the Dance History Teachers Working Group; Jane Peck (independent artist-scholar) is chair of the Early Dance Working Group; Joan L. Erdman (Columbia College Chicago) is chair of the Ethnicity and Dance Working Group; Stephanie Schroedter (Universität Bayreuth) and Sarah Davies Cordova are co-chairs of the Interdisciplinary Approaches to Nineteenth Century Dance Working Group; Clare Parfitt (University of Chichester) is Chair of the Popular, Social and Vernacular Dance Working Group; Thom Hecht (University of the Arts, London) and Vida Midgelow (University College Northampton) are co-chairs of the Practice-as-Research Working Group; and Virginia Preston is chair of the Students in SDHS Working Group.
